The age of technological evolution is evident in our daily lives and its influence is increasingly present in
our lives. The educational environment, like others, also underwent changes arising from this digital age
and, consequently, in the role of the teacher there were also significant changes. The new paradigm of the
use of digital information and communication technologies in teaching situations seems to be in a
favorable sense regarding the teachers' opinion about the use of ICTs in the classroom. Some teachers,
having the first contacts with the technologies, expressed some difficulties added of uncertainties in these
situations as well as in the construction and the mediation of the knowledge using the TDIC´s in their
pedagogical practices. In this case, it is necessary to understand how the teacher overcomes the obstacles
in his daily life to make use of ICTs in the classroom due to meaningful learning. Given this problem, the
present article highlights the results obtained through an investigation that aimed to identify the influence
of ICDs on pedagogical practices, more precisely, the impediment factors that supposedly contribute to
some teachers to feel discomfort or difficulties in using of digital technologies in their pedagogical
practices acting in propaedeutic disciplines of public schools: EM Prof.ª Márcia Francesconi Pereira, EM
Deodoro Azevedo, EM Ione Nogueira and EM Maestro Rui Capdeville, all from Cabo Frio - RJ. From
the methodological point of view for this research is the hypothetical-deductive method, we used the
following procedures: bibliographic survey on the topic of research and application of online and face-toface questionnaires. Thus, data analysis allowed the identification of teacher needs for training, involving
practical activities with ICTs and teaching. The opportunity to advance in this subject and to develop new
ways of dealing with digital technologies in the classroom shows that much is needed in this field of
study.
